When Kakao Game was launched, it had seven partner companies and boasted ten games. At present, it has more than 230 partner companies in and outside Korea, with the number of games it offers estimated at about 460.
Kakao’s cumulative sales, including those of partner companies, exceeded 800 billion won last year and reached 1 trillion won in early this year.To celebrate its achievement of the 500-million milestone, Kakao plans to stage a variety of special events.
