SEOUL, KOREA - SK Telecom joined forces with NHN Entertainment to make inroads into the mobile game market.At NHN Entertainment’s headquarters in Pangyo in the southern outskirts of Seoul on May 15, the two parties held a signing ceremony for a strategic alliance to strengthen the mobile game platform.
Under the terms of this alliance, SK Telecom will integrate its know-how in telecommunications technologies and marketing with NHN Entertainment’s superior game content development capabilities.
Through the partnership, they will focus on providing differentiated services to customers and creating a win-win environment for small- and medium-sized game developers.
They will also plan to promote joint marketing efforts. When NHN Entertainment releases new games, SK Telecom, for example, plans to provide data benefits to those who use the games, aimed at allowing its customers to be able to fully enjoy them without data burdens.
