LG U+ will launch a nationwide broadband LTE-A service from July 1. In addition to the Galaxy S5 Broadband LTE-A which it released on June 26, LG U+ plans to add 6-8 more broadband LTE-A smartphones within this year.
LG U+ has released a variety of new concept video LTE services, including UFLIX Movie, on June 23.
To celebrate the opening of the broadband LTE-A service era, LG U+ held an “LTE film festival together with the CEO” on June 30 at its headquarters building in Seoul, attended by about 40 dignitaries, including its vice chairman Lee Sang-chul. The main purposes of this event include the provision of opportunities for its employees to directly experience the company’s services.
