Hyatt Regency Incheon to Be Rebranded as Grand Hyatt Incheon

SEOUL, KOREA - Hyatt Regency Incheon near Incheon International Airport will be reborn as Grand Hyatt Incheon under the management of KAL Hotel Network.
 
Hyatt Hotels and Resorts said on July 29 that Hyatt Regency Incheon is to be rebranded as Grand Hyatt Incheon with the opening of its new West Tower on September 1, in time to welcome the athletes and spectators for the 17th Asian Games that will take place for 16 days from September 19.
 
With the opening of the West Tower, Grand Hyatt Incheon will have a total of 1,022 guestrooms including the existing 522 guestrooms in the East Tower. This is the largest among the world's 41 Grand Hyatt hotels outside North America. KAL Hotel Network will be responsible for the management of the hotel, to be headed by Heather Cho (Cho Hyun-A), the daughter of Cho Yang-ho, chairman of Hanjin Group.
 
President Cho said, "The new Grand Hyatt Incheon will continue to provide world-class accommodation and meeting offerings as well as the highest levels of service." The West Tower will include many residence-style guestrooms designed for long-stay guests with in-room amenities such as kitchens. The hotel draws the medical tourism market as it is minutes away from the Inha International Medical Center.
