SEOUL, KOREA - A premium compact car brand Mini announced on August 7 that it will release “New Mini Diesel” in Korea. The New Mini Diesel is a new model created by adding a new diesel engine onto the 3G Mini.

The New Mini Diesel comes in two varieties—general New Mini Cooper D and high-end Cooper D High Trim.
The New Mini Cooper D and the New Mini Cooper High Trim models are mounted with a three-cylinder diesel engine which has a maximum output of 116 hp. With a maximum torque of 27.6 kg.m, it takes 9.2 seconds to reach the speed of 100 kilometers from standstill.
The New Mini Diesel is also primed with excellent fuel efficiency. The fuel efficiency of the New Mini Diesel models is 19.4 kilometers per liter on a compound fuel efficiency basis.
