SEOUL, KOREA – On Thursday, Synopex, a Korean water treatment system developer, said it has developed an RO (Reverse Osmosis) membrane hydrofluoric acid wastewater treatment system. Synopex’s RO membrane treatment system is capable of purifying hydrofluoric acid wastewater into household and industrial water standards. Besides, it comes with an automatic control function, so possible hydrofluoric acid leaks can be dealt with swiftly. Synopex is planning to offer free technology and systems consulting services to its corporate customers.
Synopex said it has recently received over KRW 2 billion worth of orders for its micro filter (MF) membrane hydrofluoric acid wastewater treatment system. Synopex predicted that sales of this treatment system will reach KRW 5– 10 billion this year.
An official from Synopex said, “The minimum order for this treatment system is several hundred million won in value, so our water business will attain a total of 50-60 billion in sales this year.”

시노펙스, 역삼투 멤브레인 불산폐수 처리 시스템 개발
시노펙스(대표 손경익)는 역삼투방식(RO) 멤브레인 불산폐수 처리 시스템을 개발했다고 7일 밝혔다.
시스템은 불산폐수 수질을 생활•공업용수 수준으로 여과한다. 자동 제어가 가능해 불산 누출 등 사고에 빠르게 대응할 수 있다. 시노펙스는 고객사를 대상으로 관련 기술과 시스템의 무료 컨설팅 서비스를 실시할 계획이다.
회사는 마이크로필터(MF) 멤브레인 불산폐수 처리 시스템으로 최근 20억원 이상 수주를 달성했다고 밝혔다. 올해 관련 사업으로 50~100억원의 매출이 가능할 것으로 내다봤다.
시노펙스 관계자는 “불산 폐수 처리 시스템은 수주 규모가 한번에 최소 수억원”이라며 “물 관련 사업으로 올해 총 500~600억원 매출을 달성할 것”이라고 말했다.
