Kakao Forms Strategic Partnership with Evernote

SEOUL, KOREA - Korea's largest mobile social platform Kakao joined hands with a recording application Evernote. Kakao signed a strategic partnership agreement with Evernote, a frontrunner in recording application area, on May 1 at COEX in Seoul's Gangnam.

 Under terms of the agreement, KakaoTalk users will be able to use Evernote on a real-time basis with their friends through Kakao's Chatting Plus. With the Evernote service that enables all kinds of experiences recorded, stored and shared, KakaoTalk users, accordingly, will be able to experience more abundant mobile communications.

In particular, KakaoTalk users will be able to enjoy more cloud service experiences, plus smarter mobile life through Evernote.

For Evernote, which is going all out to expand Korean service in earnest, the partnership will enable it to provide its service to the mobile platform Kakao which has 90 million users in Korea. Evernote, accordingly, expects to be able to land stably in the Korean market.

By grafting its service onto KakaoTalk chatting rooms and services, Evernote would be able to enhance user convenience and upgrade its service value.
