SEOUL, KOREA - Korean Airlines is set to introduce its 9th A380 aircraft. The airliner announced on June 27 that it will take delivery of one A380 aircraft on June 28. The A380 will be assigned to Korean Air’s service between Incheon and Atlanta in the United States.
At present, Korean Air operates A380s fourteen times per week on the routes between Incheon and Los Angeles and between Incheon and New York, and seven times per week between Incheon and Paris. Starting from July 6, Korean Air will deploy the A380 between Incheon and Atlanta.
Korean Air is scheduled to take delivery of another A380 from Airbus within next month, bringing the total number of its A380 aircraft up to 10.
