Hankook Tire Sponsors the Pikes Peak Int’l Hill Climb

SEOUL, KOREA - Hankook Tire announced on June 27 that it will sponsor the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, the second oldest auto race in the United States, which will be held in Pikes Peak in Colorado on June 29.

The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, nicknamed as The Race to the Clouds, is held at the summit of Pikes located in the Rocky Mountains. With a total course length of 19.99 kilometers, this auto race climbs the height of 1,440 meters with 156 turns.

Starting from the middle of the peak at the height of about 3,000 meters, the race ends at the summit with the height of 4,300 meters.

This year will mark the eighth consecutive year for Hankook Tire to sponsor the motor race.In addition to the sponsorship, Hankook Tire will also provide its Ventus Z221 to some of those who participate in this race.

Ventus Z221 is a semi racing tire that shows superior performance on both circuits and general roads.
